It was, as I believed it would be as soon as I saw it, a great success. Great laughter at the right points, and a few damp eyes at the more serious bits. Several people came up to me later and congratulated me on it.
What can I say the wedding was out of world including your speech. What a cracker thank you everyone said how well it went and that it was the funniest speech that many people had heard. Just wanted to tell you that the speech went down amazingly well! I was pretty nervous leading up to it but I did the preparation, learnt it pretty well, had it well laid out on cards and couldn't have asked for it to go smoother! I was congratulated by many people after it all night and even the next day, it made me feel great about myself, got a wee sense of achievement from doing it and doing it well. Thanks very much for all you did.
